CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - After a winless 2020 season, South Football has returned to Bison Stadium for practice this week. The Fightin’ Bison is a squad that needs to get better at the fundamentals, so being physically back on the field together, as a team, should be a huge help. Below are quotes from two players and Head Coach Dan Gallas, who were interviewed by Jackson McCarty on Tuesday.

Braeden Hughes, Senior

“We’re a young team so we need all the work we can get and all the team bonding time we can get, so we can go out there and play as a family, play as one.”

Dylan Choate, Junior

“We have a lot more people than we usually have, so that’s good and the season is looking really good.”

Dan Gallas, Head Coach

“There’s nothing [that] can compare with practice to get ready. We can have voluntary workouts and whatnot, but to have them here and be here on time and going through drills and hustling to and fro is huge and that’s what makes the biggest impact on them.”

The Bison open the season at home against Kelly Walsh on Friday, August 27.
