Casper Art Walk held Thursday evening in downtown Casper
CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The third Art Walk of this summer is taking place in downtown Casper Thursday evening.
After being cancelled last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Casper Art Walk has been a statement to downtown this summer.
“It’s been huge to see again how art can be that mediator of creative community collaboration and engagement and just like creating healthier spaces. It’s nice to see everyone kind of rally around each other through art,” said Tyler Cessor, the executive director at ART 321.
Over 20 businesses will display art work of all kinds, including books, live music, paintings, and more. The goal is to allow community members to connect with friends and family while experiencing work from local artists.
“It expands the narrative of who’s doing what and where and what is possible in Casper. We get to see different perspectives through art...art that maybe challenges perspectives too that maybe it says I don’t think I have the perfect picture of what Casper is,” said Cessor.
Maps will be given out throughout the evening to show participating locations.

The event lasts from five to eight.
