CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -

The major system, that started along the western border on Monday, has now reached the eastern border and is continuing to push further east. As it is headed out of state, clouds are trailing behind it this morning. On the radar and satellite, the last group of clouds is passing through Cheyenne. As we continue further into the say today, clouds will be clearing out for a clear night tonight.

Smoke is remaining to be a consistent topic in the weather forecasts. Today, smoke is closer to the heavy side of the scale. As wildfires continue to burn, we will continue to see and feel the effects of smoke. The smoke is heaviest in the northeast corner and the western portions of Laramie County. Tomorrow, the smoke will become moderate and the heaviest parts will be along the northern and northeastern borders. If you or someone you know is sensitive to smoke and its effects, this week may be the time to find an activity indoors. Friday’s smoke forecast has most of the state seeing light smoke activity, which will allow Friday to be one of the better days to get outside.
