CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Central Wyoming Kennel Club is hosting their annual dog show this weekend at Central Wyoming Fairgrounds.

The show features over 800 dogs in different areas of competition. Dogs will show their skills in obedience courses, conformation, and more. The show will also feature dock diving and barn hunting events.

There are over 130 different breeds competing.

“The dog community is just a family. It’s one big family that’s across the country and across the world honestly so being able to have this here, fight through all the Covid restrictions and be able to put on a safe show for everybody is just great. We all love being with our animals and being with our friends and getting to see them all again and so we’re all so happy to be out here,” said Annika Dechert, a Central Wyoming Kennel Club member.

The dog show runs all weekend and ends Sunday evening.
