CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Cheyenne will soon have some live music for all to see, as Edge Fest will go down next month on August 28. In the seven years since its creation, the festival has seen its fair share of growth.

Dave Teubner, CEO and Founder of Warehouse 21, said, “it’s been amazing, actually. We started in a parking lot in the west edge district, maybe a couple hundred people would show up. Over the years we grown to maybe four thousand people.”

Edge fest offers food trucks, live music, and a place to socialize, all for no charge at the door. This year, they’ve brought on two of their larger acts in Tai Verdes and YP, with the latter artist reaching over one billion streams worldwide. But the numbers aren’t what matters to the people behind edge fest, as they have very specific requirements for edge fest performers

“Being right for edge fest is a unique thing. If they’re just a great recording artist but don’t perform well on stage, they’re not right for edge fest. We’re looking for something special, something on the rise, and something that will engage the audience.”
