Indigo Buffalo Turquoise becomes newest addition to downtown Cheyenne
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Emily Reisdorfer has been running Indigo Buffalo Turquoise virtually for the last three years. On Saturday, July 17, it became an in-person shop and the newest addition to downtown Cheyenne. She’s excited to be able to continue to share her items with the community.
“I find that a certain piece will attach itself to somebody, and they can’t stop thinking about it. They come back over and over, and then they just have to have it, and that’s what I love most about it. It’s something that people cherish and love and want to wear.”
Reisdorfer began looking for a downtown space around a year ago and her dream has finally come true. The shop will focus on turquoise jewelry, purses, pillows and everything in between.
She’s excited to be open ahead of Cheyenne Frontier Days and though they’ve only been open a few days, she said they are already feeling the love of the Cheyenne community.
“Start to finish has been crazy, but I’ve had a lot of help from my family and my friends, and then the warm reception we’ve received is the icing on the cake.”
Indigo Buffalo Turquoise will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., but it will also adjust hours depending on events and people downtown. For more information on the new business, you can head to its Facebook here.
