Recurring Pattern In Our Weather
It’s sunny. It’s cloudy. And now it’s raining. Again.
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -
Over the past several days, the pattern of on an off afternoon showers has been the big weather story. It is not going to be a shock that the pattern is continuing today. This morning has been fairly clear, as far as rain goes. The cloud coverage has practically maintained throughout this entire week, whether in large amounts or light and airy. The radar has really only showed clouds this morning, there were a few showers coming from the west near the western border.
More rain showers will continue this afternoon and will continue through the early evening hours. Heavy rain, gusty winds, and a chance of small hail are all possible with these showers. The showers later today will be quite scattered, and will travel along the southeastern corner of the state. Overnight, the showers will clear out. The cloud coverage will lighten up some in the overnight hours.
Tomorrow, more of these afternoon showers are expected again. This time, scattered showers will be seen statewide. They will have a low chance of becoming severe. The Storm Prediction Center has placed the entire state under a General Thunderstorm Risk for tomorrow. Gusty winds and heavy rain are possible with the system tomorrow.
