CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Casper-Natrona County Health Department is looking to hire more Covid Responders. Due to the pandemic, health department employees workloads have shifted.

The health department is looking for Covid Responders to help full-time staff focus on public health needs. Responders will assist with contact tracing, scheduling tests and vaccines, and other virus-related assignments.

These are temporary positions based on funding the health department receives. As of now, they have funding through December.

“We are trying to get back to our normal health department duties so all of our normal staff is really trying to shift back to whatever that normal job was for them and to meet their contract and their job deliverable so that they don’t have to be working on Covid all the time,” said Hailey Bloom, the Public Information Officer for NCHD.
