Clouds are a great representation of moisture in the atmosphere. More rain is headed our direction as we continue further into our day today. Late this afternoon and early this evening, we can expect more scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms to make another appearance. Most of the rain tonight will stay in the southeastern corner of the state.

The isolated thunderstorms tonight could potentially become severe. There is a Marginal Thunderstorm Risk for the most southeastern corner today. Strong, gusty winds, heavy rain, and a chance of small hail are all possible. If you hear thunder, the best bet is to head indoors. Even though lightning may not be seen, thunder is the indicator it is there. As always, be weather aware and keep your eyes to the sky.
