CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Carpet one is bringing a very special exhibit to the Capitol City to recognize the 20-year- Anniversary of 9/11.

Tunnel to Towers Foundation is a national organization dedicated to firefighter Stephen Siller who lost his life on 9/11 while saving others. The foundation helps those that were catastrophically injured serving our country by building houses for them.

The exhibit is a traveling museum, featuring stories and remnants from the 9/11 tragedy. According to Carpet One spokesperson, there are only four trailers in the U.S. This is the first time they are coming to Cheyenne.

The traveling memorial will be west of the Depot downtown from July 23-26.

“We are so excited to be able to share this with everyone; this unique, American treasure, is really what it is. It is a great way to bring what happened twenty years ago here. There are some people in the community who were not even born yet; we got to make sure they know and they understand to keep it alive,” said Serenity Moffett, Vice President of Retail Operations for Carpet One.

The event is free to attend, but donations can be made to Tunnel to Tower through Carpet One or their website.
