CHEYENNE, Wyo. (PRESS RELEASE) - The City of Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities (BOPU) and the Laramie County Master Gardeners will be hosting a “Habitat Hero” Garden Walk on Sunday, July 11, 2021 from 1-4pm at the BOPU Administration building located at 2416 Snyder Ave.

This event features a community “Habitat Hero” demonstration garden promoting a “Bee Smart; Water Smart” landscape.  This type of “Bee Smart; Water Smart” landscape creates a healthy habitat for wildlife, bees, butterflies, and other pollinators while also conserving water resources.  This family friendly event is a great way to obtain knowledge about the specific plants in the garden, information on the wildlife habitat, and water conservation best practices.   Additionally, there will be booklets available listing all five “Habitat Hero” gardens located throughout the community.  For more information, please visit www.cheyennebopu.org.
