CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Sunday afternoon we saw plenty of isolated showers and scattered storms around the state which were relatively brief but still held a presence throughout Wyoming. The good news is, as we head into tonight, along with temperatures dropping we will also begin to see those rain showers and storm chances diminish. Leaving the nighttime being optimal conditions for our Fireworks festivities.

Monday: The stationary frontal boundary will still have a hold on Wyoming which will prompt more widespread showers and thunderstorms Monday afternoon into the evening hours. This looks like the highest chance and wettest part of the week. These conditions look to clear out again heading into Monday night, however, there are still slight chances of some areas to see isolated showers or thunderstorms in Wyoming on Tuesday before drying out and heating up throughout the rest of the week.

Temperatures for the remainder of the week will be hot, the upper 80s, mid-90s so be prepared for more hot conditions. Stay hydrated and remember to take heat breaks!
