Nuvision Credit Union prepares to host first Cheyenne Freedom Ride on July 3rd

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (PRESS RELEASE) - Nuvision Credit Union holds its inaugural “Freedom Ride” in Cheyenne, honoring organizations supporting local veterans:

TIME: Registration starts at 9:00 AM., with “kickstands up” for the ride at 10:00 AM.

Ride returns at 12:30, followed by a BBQ meal and live music

DATE: Saturday, July 3, 2021

PLACE: High Country Harley-Davidson (HCHD) at 3320 Lincoln Way, Cheyenne, WY 82001

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

· The event starts and ends at High Country Harley-Davidson.

· Nuvision will provide lunch to all participants at the end of the event. Lunch is catered by local business, Pioneer BBQ.

· Sunshine James will perform beginning at 12:30 PM.

· The program supports:

o Dogs & Tags of Wyoming – their mission is to supply service dogs to individuals with PTSD.’

o High Plains Honor Flight – this organization is dedicated to providing all-expense-paid trips for veterans to Washington, DC, to see, first-hand, the memorials established in their honor.

This event, part of the Credit Union’s NuvisionCares community program, provides free gas, meals, social events and more to military members across its western-states network, covering Wyoming (branches in Cheyenne and Casper), California, Arizona, Alaska and Washington.
