CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Summer 2021 has been full of events in the Capital City. The next big event is the 25th annual Wyoming Brewers Festival.

“I’ve been doing this a long time for the brew fest in one way or another. To me, it gives me chills to think about it because we’re doing such a good thing for Cheyenne as a whole by maintaining and making sure our centerpiece, the depot, can be maintained and keep going,” said WBF Committee Volunteer Chair, Sarah Compton.

Compton said all proceeds from the festival will go towards upkeep of the Cheyenne Depot Building. The two day event is all you can sample, 17 of the 35 breweries attending, are from the Cowboy State. The event will also have two bands performing on each day.

The committee is thankful for the continued support in this milestone and that the money raised is staying in the Cheyenne community.

“For me that’s really important to know, that that money is staying right here in Cheyenne.”

The brew fest will be from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday June 18 and Saturday June 19. There will also be a safe ride program available to those who attend. Since the Depot is open to the public, all ages can attend, but you will need to be 21 and purchase a ticket to drink.
