CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - No one was injured when a home caught on fire in the area of E 21st Street and Glendale Avenue.

Deputy Chief Cam Siplon said they think that the fire started from somewhere on the outside. There were two cats and one dog in the home. They were treated with oxygen and their current condition is unknown.

Firefighters stayed on the scene to make sure today’s high winds didn’t rekindle anything. “We had multiple calls going on. We had a wildland fire, a grass fire off of first street at the same time as this one. It pulled our resources thin so we did bring in a mutual engine company from Evansville” Siplon said.

A release from Casper Fire-EMS said exterior fires are too common during windy days.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
