Hot & dry trend continues prompting fire weather and another round of Severe Weather for much of Wyoming

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Hot & Dry conditions being paired with more breezy winds Tuesday will prompt an elevated risk for fire weather in Southern & Central Wyoming. The day will begin mostly with clear conditions around the state with winds being prompted to breezy and gusty in some areas into the afternoon. As the day progresses, Severe Thunderstorms look to move in for much of Eastern Wyoming. These storms will also impact Northern Colorado. the Nebraska Panhandle & Northern/Eastern Wyoming. These storms will include Large-sized hail, Heavy rain, strong gusty winds & possible tornadoes.

Temperatures will remain above average around the state hitting the mid to upper 80s and 90-degree temperatures. Remember to hydrate and to take breaks from the sun if you are out throughout the day. Keep the rain gear nearby and weather aware in case of severe weather that may pop up Tuesday afternoon.
