Heat continues for Friday, mainly dry & sunny with some areas having a chance to see isolated rain in the PM

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - High pressure continues heading into Friday - prompting more dry conditions. with plenty of sunshine. Temperatures will continue to increase as we approach the weekend. However, with an upper-level trough descending into the northern areas of Wyoming. We could see some isolated rain showers into the Central and Northern areas of Wyoming around dinner time Friday. These showers will be brief and the overall theme of Friday is hot & sunny.

That being said, be sure to wear sunscreen, and stay hydrated if you’re going to be outside for extended periods of time. Heat in the mid to upper 80s and lower 90s are expected for the entire state. with UV indexes 9-10 to be reached.

Long-range, temps will continue to be warm & hot with chances of seeing some isolated rain showers and thunderstorms in Cheyenne Saturday & Sunday in the PM. Casper looks to remain dry and warm throughout the weekend.
