CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Wyoming will be drying out and cooling down Wednesday night, as temperatures reach into the 40s and 50s. However, the same can not be said for Thursday and heading into the weekend. Warm weather will turn hot weather for many areas as temperatures reaching upper 70s, the 80s and, 90 degree temperatures and look to remain that way heading into the weekend.

For Thursday, expect temperatures to start climbing to some heat we haven’t felt in months. A high pressure system will remain in the state for a few days and will continue to dry things out and clear out some cloud cover giving way to more sunshine over the next few days. Iced tea, lemonade weather and if you have a pool, perfect way to cool off heading into the weekend.

Changes could come on Saturday evening/night for Cheyenne as a potential isolated thunderstorm could show it’s face around the area.

Enjoy the warmth, sunshine over the next few days! However, if conditions remain dry over an extended time we could see fire weather prompt over the next few days.
