Go Wyld online over the summer
Wyoming Libraries offer online resources to keep kids engaged and adults learning and ready for work
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -With summer outdoor activities gearing up, kids and adults may be looking for ways to keep their minds active as well.
Wyomingites may not need to look any further than your local library.
The library’s new program “Go Wyld” offers the chance for anyone from children to adults to keep learning this summer.
This library resource has “Book-Flix” for kids pre-K to grades 3 that incorporates animated books with follow-along text.
Then pairing it with a nonfiction book on the same topic to keep kids entertained and growing.
The “in learning” program is for anyone looking to bulk up their skill set before going back to the workforce.
Adults can access over 5000 free video courses for business, tech, creative editing programs. And high school and college students can access college prep courses and research databases. And for the linguistically curious, free language programs.
So really encourage people to explore the resources ask your local library for help if you need it and just remember it’s Go Wyld. Net. It opens up a whole world of learning.
“Over-Drive” has more than 1000 E-books, audiobooks, digital graphic novels, and comic books, something to keep everyone intellectually engaged over the summer months.
