CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The sun is shining, and you’ve been buying sunscreen at the store. You know that it’s time to pull those swimsuits out from the back of the closet, and Casper Parks and Recreation agrees with you.

All of the Casper Parks and Recreation pools will be open on June 12, which is the day after Natrona County School District lets out. Each pool will open at a different time of the day.

There will be no restrictions at any of the pools this summer, but there will be additional cleaning that occurs regularly.

“I think especially coming off of last year everyone’s just excited to kind of get back to work and have full capacity where we don’t have, ya know last year was 50% was the most we could do, so I think everyone’s just ready to get back to full-blown operation and having some fun,” said Casper Parks and Recreation Director Tim Cortez in an interview at Mike Sedar Pool in Casper.

Cortez also reminded people that the preference is for kids to be accompanied by an adult when visiting one of the city’s pools.

Admission prices vary at pools around town, and cash and credit cards are accepted at all of them.
