CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - A cool & gloomy day persisted through Southern Wyoming for Sunday. The abundance of moisture looks to dry out as we go into Memorial Day thanks to a High Pressure rolling into the state by Monday afternoon. However, there still remains chances of light rain showers in SE Wyoming and even though it is unlikely, there is a chance of an isolated thunderstorm in the area as well.

Memorial Day will bring warmer temperatures to the Central & Northern areas of the state as more sun shines down and the warmer air moves in. Creating optimal grilling conditions for folks in Casper and the Central/Northern areas. Cheyenne may continue to see more cloudy conditions through the morning and chances of rain showers into the afternoon. Temperatures will improve slightly but still be on the cooler end with upper 50s and low 60s for SE region.
