CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Friday: clearing skies and warmer temperatures begin going into our afternoon hours. Closing in on dinner time, clouds will recover and chances of isolated thunderstorms around Central and NE Wyoming become more possible and have a chance to threaten the SE areas of Wyoming as well.

Friday Night: A cold front will bring in cooler temperatures, as an upper level trough continues to influence potential rain/t-storms heading into the weekend especially into Saturday evening as another cold front prompts some more active weather.

Memorial Day Weekend, expect some areas to be different than others. Cheyenne cooler temperatures, showers and thunderstorms are in the forecast throughout the entirety of the holiday weekend. Temps in the 60s and 50s will remain until next week as warmer temperatures move back in.

Casper- will hold onto a bit warmer air for the next couple of days and have a lower chance of seeing rain or thunderstorms but the potential remains.

Overall enjoy the sun and warmth while we have it throughout our Friday. Changes are coming for the weekend, have rain gear on deck and maybe not the best conditions for grilling or a pool (it’s definitely going to be too cold if you go to a lake or pool water). Enjoy your holiday weekend!
