Casper Police online reporting, disabled for maintenance
CASPER, Wyo. (PRESS RELEASE) - Effective immediately, the Casper Police Department has disabled its online reporting capabilities for maintenance.
Online reporting through casperpolice.org has been disabled while IT mechanics work to resolve a maintenance issue.
There is no estimate as to when the system will be back online. In lieu of online reporting, the public is asked to file police reports by phone.
Filing a report over the phone is a service available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week by calling the Casper Police Department non-emergency phone number, 307-235-8278, or, in case of emergency, dialing 911.
“Online reporting is often used by citizens filing a report for minor car accidents, thefts, or other non-emergency situations,” said Casper Police Public Information Officer Rebekah Ladd. “While this service is unavailable, we look forward to serving our citizens over the phone and in person if necessary. The disabling of our online reporting service does in no way interrupt our service to the citizens of Casper or our ability to protect and serve the community.”
