Four Cheyenne South seniors sign college sports letters of intent

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Surrounded by friends, family, and coaches, four Cheyenne South seniors put pen to paper in the South auditorium on Wednesday afternoon.

They signed their college sports letters of intent and will officially be college athletes next year.

Attached is Wednesday night’s story and below each student’s name, their future college home, and a quote about whether they think they are ready for the transition to college.

Andraya Dimas, LCCC Basketball

“Yeah, hopefully. My goal is to just get better every day and playing college ball will help me with that.”

Caydince Groth, Chadron State Track

“I hope so because the coach is going to send me workouts and everything so I’m going to start the summer off...I’ll have three months off doing what they’re doing.”

Riley VanTassell, LCCC Basketball

“I think that [Coach Chad DeBruyn has] helped me get prepared for the next level and I think that I have the work ethic.”

Blade Hagar, Wyoming Cheer

“I think that I have, throughout my high school career, I have worked hard enough and I’ve what I need to do to prepare for the harder classes to come and just college in general.”
