CRMC continues Hospital Week Celebration with Food Truck Festivities
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Cheyenne Regional Medical Center has been honoring nurses and employees for National Hospital Week. Thursday, CRMC provided food trucks and drinks for their employees to take a break, and soak up some sunshine.
All week-long, CRMC has been providing special events for the Hospital Week itinerary.
“This week, we have really upped our game this year, and found ways to give back to the employees and really just take some time to celebrate them and give some love back to them,” said J.J. Barley-Dunning, Chair of Hospital Week.
Employees were given a ticket to receive a meal and drink. The tickets were entered into a raffle for an Echo Show.
CRMC welcomed the community in the week-long celebration; Monday, they participated in a Food Drive for LCCC Food Bank, Wednesday and Thursday, CRMC offered pet therapy.
CRMC said they wanted to recognize their employees and show appreciation for all the hard work they do.
“We wanted everybody to feel like they are a part of this, every single employee, doesn’t matter what they do. It doesn’t matter if they’re part-time, full-time, if they’re PRN, we want them to be able to come out, feel that appreciation, feel that love, and be able to share that with the people they see everyday, as well as some of the people they don’t get to see everyday,” said Barley-Dunning.
Tomorrow, the Food Truck Festival continues from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, CRMC will have treats for the weekend and evening staff.
