Burns’ Wade Pollack breaks school record, Torrington’s Marissa Morehouse wins two events at Pine Bluffs Field Event Extravaganza

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Pine Bluffs Field Event Extravaganza was a chance for the small high schools of Southeastern Wyoming to get together for field-only competition.

Burns, Pine Bluffs, Torrington, Southeast, and Guernsey-Sunrise were all there on Thursday.

No team scores were released, but there were two impressive individual feats accomplished at the Extravaganza.

Torrington’s Marissa Morehouse won two events; the girls Long Jump and Triple Jump.

Also, Burns’ Wade Pollack set a new school record for shot put, throwing 51′ 11″ at the meet.

Track and Field Regionals begin on Friday, April 14. 4A East will compete at Kelly Walsh High School in Casper and 3A East will compete at Torrington High School.
