CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -

An active weather week starts now for Wyoming as the radar has rain and snow showers. Rain and snow showers continue around the state with the rain transitioning to snow as temperatures continue to drop tonight. The moisture will finally fizzle out tonight, but more showers are expected tomorrow and Wednesday! The rain tomorrow will be isolated in nature for the next few days as a cold front pushes through. Storms are possible Wednesday for the eastern part of Wyoming. The rain won’t be bringing too much accumulation only a tenth of an inch here and there. Temperatures will increase tomorrow into the 50s with winds gusty along I-80.

Temperatures by Thursday and Friday will soar into the 70s before the next cold front comes through over the weekend. If you are planning outdoor activities for Mother’s Day, you might want to watch the forecast closely as the cold front brings another chance for rain showers for most of the weekend into Monday.
