CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Winter Storm Warning in effect until Monday @ 6 p.m for the snowy range area and Winter Weather Advisories in place for parts of Laramie, Albany, Carbon, Sublette, and Fremont counties until Monday afternoon.

The system has swept through Wyoming Sunday cooling things off quickly. Rain arrived late afternoon for Cheyenne and has been hitting Sublette and Fremont counties hard all Sunday evening and looks to continue throughout the rest of the night.

Rain has picked back up in SE Wyoming and as the temperatures continue to drop around the state with falling precipitation, can expect that wintry mix to develop overnight creating some treacherous road conditions overnight into early Monday morning for areas impacted by this system. Some areas have the potential of seeing isolated thunderstorms and periodic heavy rainfall throughout the overnight hours and Monday morning.
