CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Rooted in Cheyenne is teaming up with Freedom’s Edge Brewing Company for National Arbor Day on Friday April 30. The celebration will include games, a 50/50 raffle, an online tree raffle, a tree seedling giveaway and even a specific beer dedicated to the celebration, where a dollar of each pint bought will benefit Rooted in Cheyenne.

Rooted will also be announcing the winner of its T-Shirt contest, which it teamed up with Arts Cheyenne to put on, and concluded last week. The contest winner’s design will be sold to the general public. Rooted has appreciated the community’s support and looks forward to continuing its mission.

“We want to make sure everybody knows the importance of the trees in Cheyenne and spread that knowledge,” said Rooted in Cheyenne Board Member, Jason Hardy.

The celebration will begin on Friday at 5 p.m. and continue throughout the evening. For more information, you can visit the event page here, and Rooted in Cheyenne’s Facebook page here.
