CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -

Heavy rain showers are still hovering in southeastern Wyoming this evening. Temperatures are dropping this evening which is allowing the rain to transition into snow. Cheyenne should expect half an inch to an inch of rain accumulations tonight. The moisture will slowly fizzle out tonight after midnight. Casper will remain mostly cloudy with the clouds clearing out slowly over night.

Tomorrow the state will be in a ridge with a high pressure which will increase the temperatures significant especially into the later half of this week and Saturday. The rest of this week will be very calm as the high pressure dominated the region for the end of the week and Saturday. Temperatures will hit the upper 50s and 60s tomorrow, but by Saturday temperatures will be in the upper 70s a to mid 80s in some spots!

By Sunday things will start to change up with a system coming in cooler temperatures to the 50s. This system looks to bring a few thunderstorms to the state, but this system is still days out so we will continue to watch this for you!
