New cold front, moisture headed for Wyoming ahead of warmer weekend
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - We’re warming up a little more for Thursday, but the warm up is going to stall on Friday. A cold front will move into the state over night, hitting the northern parts like Yellowstone, Cody and and Sheridan earlier this evening. The moisture will begin with rain and snow possible in areas before wider spread snow hits the northern parts of Wyoming.
As the front moves through, more moisture will hit from the West starting Friday afternoon, giving Southeast Wyoming chances at a little snow and rain, and possibly even a few rolls of thunder. Those chances of showers will begin to fade as evening comes.
Lows will dip into the 20′s for Cheyenne and Casper tonight and Friday night, before things finally warm up over the weekend, reaching highs in the sixties by Sunday.
