CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -

Very scattered snow showers are still on the radar this evening, but they will start to fizzle out in the next few hours. Temperatures will plummet to the teens and single digits for the state overnight with partly cloudy skies and scattered flurries. Anything that has melted today and did not evaporate will refreeze tonight with the very fridge temperatures.

High pressure system will be entering the state tomorrow allow temperatures to warm up, but this doesn’t mean snow showers are out of the forecast. Wednesday temperatures will warm up across the state with most regions in the 40s and the upper 30s. Snow showers will be possible for southeastern Wyoming tomorrow afternoon into tomorrow night before clearing out. Snow accumulations won’t be significant only a dusting up to an inch. This is good news though Wyoming needs all the moisture we can get since the entire state is still under a drought.

Temperatures will warm up Thursday into the upper 40s and 50s before another cold front comes through Friday. This cold front will bring a slight chance for snow/rain showers to the state before temperatures soar into the upper 50s, 60s, and a few 70 degrees areas can’t be ruled out!
