Casper Metropolitan Planning Organization will be holding a public open house

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (MEDIA RELEASE) - The Casper Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is hosting a socially distanced in-person public open house to review the draft Public Participation Plan with opportunities for the public to provide input.

• When: Wednesday, April 28

• Where: Gruner Brothers Brewery, 1301 Wilkins Circle

• Time: 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. with a presentation at 5:30 p.m. Come and go as you please!

“Public participation is a key component to the success of our transportation planning projects and programs,” said Jeremy Yates, Casper Area MPO Director. “We are updating our Public Participation Plan and we hope that participants of the public open house provide feedback on how they prefer to be involved in future transportation planning efforts.”

The Public Participation Plan helps direct how the public can be involved in the transportation planning process. The plan identifies the goals of participation and describes the various tools that can be used to create public awareness and gather input during the transportation planning process.
