CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -

This evening snow showers are scattered on the radar mainly in the central part of Wyoming. Temperatures will be cold tonight with lows bottoming out in he low 20s and teens. Temperatures will remain chilly for the entire week with chances for snow showers possible Tuesday- Friday.

A low pressure system will be hanging out south of Wyoming over the next several days causing moisture to be funneled up into Wyoming. Widespread snow is likely most of this week starting on Tuesday evening. Winds are going to be gusty tomorrow with minimal travel impacts. Snow will start in the west tomorrow and into Tuesday spreading east Tuesday-Thursday. Snow will transition into rain for the warmest parts of the day before transiting back to snow by night fall. Tuesday morning through Wednesday morning travel hazards will increase due to snow, blowing snow, and windy conditions. Snow will continue to spread east throughout the week. Watch for watches, warnings, and advisories as we get closer to the snow arriving!
