Another Cold Front Rolls Through Before the Weekend

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -

Temperature warmed up today with partly sunny skies earlier; however, more clouds are filling the sky this evening across the state. Winter Storm Watch is in effect for Black Hills in Wyoming until Friday at 12pm. This region will see the most snow fall. Tomorrow temperatures will be warm again for most of the state before the cold front rolls through. Temperatures across the state will hit upper 50s and 60s. The cold front will be accompanied by moisture and cooler temperatures that will be felt Friday.

The moisture spills into western Wyoming starting tomorrow afternoon and continues to move southeastward throughout the evening and overnight hours. Accumulations will be limited to a dusting up to an inch in some spots. The higher elevations will be seeing most snow accumulations up to 2-4 inches in the mountains. Winds will continue to gust between 30mph-40mph tomorrow in the southeastern part early tomorrow morning before spreading throughout the state. Friday the winds will be picking up significantly with gusts between 50mph-60mph. Friday temperatures will be cooler only topping out in the mid 40s in Cheyenne and upper 40s for Casper.
