Cheyenne South Twilight canceled, many track & field athletes still to compete for first time this season at other invitationals

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The streak of canceled Cheyenne-hosted track meets has stretched to three weeks.

The blizzard has left snow on high school tracks all over the Capital City and therefore the Cheyenne South Twilight has been called off.

Still, many teams, including South, will still get to compete at other meets in Wyoming. Below are the competitions, all take place on Thursday:

Cheyenne South Twilight (at South HS):


Wheatland Invite (at Wheatland HS):

-Events begin at 10 a.m.

-Schools Participating: Burns, Central, South, Douglas, Laramie, Wheatland

Jerry Campbell Invitational (at Buffalo HS):

- Events begin at 11 a.m.

-Schools Participating: Campbell County, Glenrock, Kelly Walsh, Natrona County, Sheridan, and Thunder Basin

T-Town Qualifier in Torrington (at Wiseman Field):

-Events begin at 10 a.m.

-School Participating: Torrington
