CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -

The cold front is inching closer to Wyoming bringing scattered snow showers this evening and into tomorrow. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for western Sheridan County until tomorrow at noon. Snow showers will be scattered in nature tonight with a better swath of moisture tomorrow in central Wyoming moving south tomorrow evening. Cheyenne has a 40% chance for snow showers and Casper has 50% chance. By tomorrow evening the moisture will fizzle out. Accumulations will not be significant only dusting up to an inch in most location, but the higher elevations will see 4-6 inches including the Sierra Madre Mountain and the Snowy Mountain. Temperatures are going to be cooler tomorrow as well because of the cold front so make sure to grab the jacket as your head out the door! The winds won’t be too bad with gusts in the 30s.

By this weekend the weather is going to be gorgeous out with temperatures in the upper 40s and 50s by Saturday with mostly sunny skies. Sunday temperatures continue to increase to the 50s and 60s with sunny skies and windy conditions. Monday temperatures continue to increase before another cold front comes through Tuesday!
