CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for western Sheridan County until Friday at 12PM. Scattered snow showers are popping up on the radar this evening mainly in the western part of the state and more isolated snow showers are possible tomorrow across the state. These snow showers are all thanks to a cold front that will track through the state before dropping south of Wyoming. Before the cold front comes through tomorrow the temperatures will increase to the 40s and a few spots hitting 50 degrees! The winds will continue to gust in the 20s and 30s resulting in the outside air feeling colder than what they actually are. Tonight the temperatures will bottom out below freezing causing any snowfall to freeze on the roadways.

Friday is going to be a cooler day with temperatures back in the 30s. The good news is this weekend is going to be absolutely gorgeous with temperatures soaring in the 40s and 50s Saturday and 50s and 60s Sunday with mostly sunny skies! Make sure to get out and enjoy the warm weather while it lasts!
