CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -

The radar is still very active this evening with snow showers and rain showers painted across the state. A couple heavy bands are moving through Cheyenne, the I-80 corridor, and up in the mountains near Riverton. Temperatures will continue to keep falling this evening making the rain showers change over to snow showers. The showers will slowly start to fizzle out tonight and into the early morning hours tomorrow. Temperatures will bottom out across the state below freezing resulting in anything that has melted or wet on the roadways or sidewalks to refreeze making them a bit slippery tomorrow.

Tomorrow a few snow showers are possible mainly in the far western part of Wyoming. Temperatures will start to increase tomorrow and Thursday as high pressure will dominate the region. By Thursday night into Friday another cold front will come through cooling the temperatures off and bringing moisture to the state. Depending on the temperatures of each location it will either bring rain showers or snow showers. This weekend temperatures will increase Saturday to the 40s and by Sunday the temperatures will soar into the 50s and 60s!
