CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - A Winter Weather Advisory is in place for Teton & Park County through Sunday morning, with a High Wind Warning in the Elk Mountain are until Midnight tonight.

A warm day through much of Wyoming was present as temperatures hit low to mid 50s. However, cooler air remained in much of Central Wyoming as a mild cold front swept through from the west bringing precipitation and cooler conditions this afternoon.

For tonight, expect some rain turn to snow showers scattered throughout the state. Snow showers will be light and won’t accumulate much but could add more decorative look to areas that are impacted and slick spots as temperatures begin to drop and stay on the cooler side for the next few days.

Cooler air will remain across the state for the next few days after a taste of some Spring action on Saturday. Expect chances of seeing rain/snow overnight and early Sunday. It looks to clear up heading into Sunday night.
