CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -

Good news, temperatures are going to continue to increase as we head into the back half of this week! The bad news in the temperatures are going to plummet tonight into the teens with wind chills in the single digits. The low temperatures will cause everything that has melted to refreeze overnight tonight and cause another morning of headaches on the road ways. Cheyenne will bottom out at 19 and Casper will bottom out at 26 with partly skies and areas of fog.

Temperatures will continue to increase tomorrow as the region will be under the influence of a High Pressure. This will allow temperatures to increase into the 40s with a couple of places seeing 50s with plenty of sunshine. The downside to this is everything that melts will refreeze overnight making it very difficult to shovel in the morning hours. The winds will be gusting at 20mph-30mph across the state tomorrow,

Saturday will be the peak day as temperatures will soar into the 50s with a few 60 degrees sprinkled around the state, however, a cold front will be coming through bringing a chance for more snow showers. The snow showers will start tomorrow in western Wyoming and spread eastward Saturday evening into Sunday. This will only produce a few inches of snow accumulation around the state with the Sierra Madre and the Snowy Mountains picking up an additional 2-4 inches!
