CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -

Roads are in very poor conditions in the Cheyenne with city officials urging people to stay home so plower workers can clear the roads with having to take the time to help people that are stuck. Casper roads are in much better conditions compared to Cheyenne. I-25 and I-80 are still closed this evening with a possible reopening tomorrow. Tonight temperatures will drop below freezing causing any water or slush on the roadways or sidewalks to refreeze and cause headaches for anyone traveling tomorrow. Isolated snow showers are possible this evening, they will fizzle out overnight just to return tomorrow. Once the snow showers fizzle out tomorrow night drier conditions will start for the back half of the week.

Tomorrow a High Pressure will cause temperatures to continue to warm up slowly but surely. Winds will remain calm for most of the state but by tomorrow afternoon for the southeastern parts of Wyoming winds will start to gust in the 20s and 30s. By Friday Cheyenne will hit high temperatures in the upper 40s and Saturday in the low 50s. Another disturbance will come through Sunday bringing cooler temperatures and a chance for more snow.
