CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Snow is coming down heavy as another wave of wet heavy snow is falling in SE Wyoming and stretching over to the Central areas of the state.

Blizzard and Winter Storm Warnings will remain in place through much of Sunday as this snow event looks to not taper off until Sunday night.

Periods of moderate to heavy snow will flip flop throughout the overnight hours and into Sunday morning. These heavy and wet conditions look to be bolstered by wind conditions that will pick up through the night and create blizzard conditions for much of SE Wyoming and into the NE panhandle.

The Low Pressure from the South is still pumping moisture from the gulf which is creating these strong impacts of this widespread storm. As mentioned, expect tonight and tomorrow to be filled with nothing but snow as conditions look to remain very poor over the next day.

Major interstates and Highways have been closed in result to the wintry conditions. Don’t expect to really go anywhere on Sunday. Stay home and stay safe, we will continue to update on this storm and tracking its movements throughout it’s duration.
