Economic Development Applications being accepted for projects, due end of March
RIVERTON, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -
The city of Riverton EDGE Committee is currently accepting applications for proposed economic development projects. The funds for the projects will be coming from the half cent tax money that was passed last election. All applications will be considered from developing, local, small and big businesses. Businesses that are relocating are also eligible to apply.
The city administrator said that anyone wanting to apply, but unsure if their development idea will be a good fit, are encouraged to call City Hall first and share their idea by phone, before starting the application.
“Those types of things that bring jobs to our community, bring jobs to our county, result in a net flow of income to the county. We can develop a number of things within this, but those are some of the standards that we try to keep,” stated City Administrator Tony Tolstedt.
The applications are due by March 31st and are available by clicking here.
