CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies is doing everything they can to get food out to people in need. It’s next way of doing that is pop up pantries.

The pantries will be located across the state, and it is organizing them everywhere it can.

Each box contains fresh fruits and vegetables along with some meat and a gallon of milk. Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies received a large shipment of dairy and produce, and it wants to get those items out quickly.

“Pop up pantries came about because it’s the best way to do that. We want to make sure it’s done safely. We want to make sure it’s done quickly, and that it reaches out to the most,” said Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies Wyoming Programs Manager Myriam Wolcott.

The first one will be in Casper on Friday at Poverty Resistance.
