Spring Weather Followed by a Cool Down

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Another Spring like day across the state today with temperatures reaching the upper 40s and 50s across most of the state. The winds are decreasing tonight to make for a relatively calm chilly night! Don’t forget the jacket as you head out as the overnight low temperatures are bottom out in the 30s and upper 20s.

Tomorrow another ridge will set up bringing more warm temperatures into the state. The winds will corporate with a few breezy spots otherwise the state will have calm winds. More sunshine and beautiful blue skies are in tomorrow forecast and make sure to take it all in as the trend of warm temperatures comes to an end Thursday.

Thursday a low pressure will move just south of Wyoming bringing in cooler temperatures and a chance for snow and rain showers. Right now the moisture will stay in the southern parts of Wyoming and into the Panhandle of Nebraska. Make sure to check roadways if traveling in southern Wyoming as there could be travel impacts.

It’s roller coaster weather with the temperatures warm Wednesday cooling off Thursday and by the end of the week temperatures will be increasing with some areas hitting 70 degrees Saturday! Wednesday and into the weekend will be a great time for outdoor activities such as a hike, picnic, bike riding, taking the pets for a walk, or even a run!
