CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -

Isolated snow showers are possible tonight across the region; however, the far western part of the state including Jackson and Yellowstone will be seeing most of the moisture. Winter Storm Warnings are in effect for Jackson and Afton until Saturday at 6am. This region will see 10-16 inches of snow accumulations with higher amounts expected for the higher elevations. Winter Weather Advisories are in effect for Yellowstone until Friday at 11pm. This region will be seeing 4-8 inches with localized higher amounts. High Wind Warnings are in effect for Natrona County until tonight at 11pm. High Wind Warnings are in effect for Platte, Laramie, Albany, Goshen, and Carbon Counties until Saturday at 5am. Winds are going to be increase tonight for Central Wyoming. Tomorrow morning most of the state will have gusts at 50mph with Cheyenne and the southern part of the state gusting in the 60-70mph and sustain winds at 40mph.

Tomorrow temperatures will be in the 30s but will feel colder because of the winds. Over the weekend isolated snow showers are possible Saturday with partly cloudy skies. Sunday expect cooler temperatures and sunny skies! Some good news in the warm temperatures are going to welcome Wyoming at the beginning of next week and stay with us through most of the week. Cheyenne could top out in the 50s as early as Tuesday!
