Enroll Wyoming can help with your health insurance needs
CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Enroll Wyoming started about six years ago to help people find health care option. The federal government has extended the deadline to enroll in health insurance through May 15, and Enroll Wyoming can help with that.
Enroll Wyoming has navigators located around the state to assist people. Navigators are people who help find the health coverage that best fits people’s needs.
They are available virtually, by phone or in person.
Cynthia Nunley, an Enroll Wyoming navigator, has been with the program since it began, and she still remembers helping her first person, who happened to be battling cervical cancer.
“When we were able to get her on an insurance plan, she was able to get the surgery that she needed, so that’s what keeps me going.”
Nunley said Enroll Wyoming’s goal is to help give people options for their health care coverage and get the help people need. “We help people find discounts and tax credits to help pay for the insurance.”
If you don’t think you can afford coverage, Nunley also said it doesn’t hurt to reach out. “No question is a dumb question or a bad question. We want to make sure people know what all their options are.”
