Colder Temperatures Expected Wednesday

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -

Temperatures are going to be chilly going into tonight and tomorrow morning thanks to the cold front that rolled through today. Make sure to bundle up tonight and tomorrow morning with a jacket, hat, and gloves. Overnight low temperatures will be in the teens and single digits across the state with wind chill values as low as 10 below 0. Winds will calm down tonight for the entire state. Isolated snow showers are possible overnight but will be fizzling out after midnight.

Another disturbance will bring isolated snow showers tomorrow. Most of the snow showers will be located in the northern part of the state and along the Wyoming, Colorado Border. Wednesday temperatures will not make it above freezing with a 30% chance for snow showers tomorrow and increases tomorrow night to 40%. Accumulations will not be much only up to a dusting to an inch in Wyoming with most accumulations in Colorado where most of the moisture will be located. The mountainous regions will see the most snowfall.

By Thursday and Friday the Wyoming winds come back in full swing with High Wind Warnings likely be activated is the high wind prone regions.
