CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -

Windy conditions have continued this evening causing road closures for light and high profile vehicles on I-25 from the Colorado Border to Casper and I-80 from Rawlins to Cheyenne. Extreme blow over risk are in place for these areas because winds have gusted up to 102 mph just Northwest of Natural Fort. Cheyenne has seen gusts up to 64mph, and Casper has seen gusts up to 68mph.

A cold front is coming into the state causing the windy conditions to stick around one more day. High Wind Warnings are in effect for most of the southeastern corner of Wyoming including Cheyenne, Casper, Laramie, Rawlins, Wheatland, and Torrington until Tuesday at noon. If tomorrow is your trash make sure to put it back inside as soon as possible because winds are going to be gusting at 60mph with sustain winds at 30mph. You trash can will roll into your neighbors yard or even down the street, and you don’t want your neighbors seeing you run down the street chasing your trash can!

Tomorrow before the cold front rolls through temperatures will reach 40 degrees in Casper and 48 degrees in Cheyenne 48 degrees. Isolated snow showers are possible with the cold front but moisture is very limited so snow accumulations will be a dusting at most; however, the winds are going to make it hard to measure as it is going to be blowing around. By Wednesday temperatures will be chilly again only toping out in the 20s and lower 30s.
